Elton sailing club has surpassed my preconceptions regarding what a sports-based club can offer a family. Our family have been made to feel incredibly welcome and have been given training alongside free coaching and never been made to feel like a group of beginners; there is a nurturing core to the club. The other juniors have embraced our children into their group where they all form an incredibly fun and friendly cohort whether sailing or socialising. Being a member has quickly turned from an occasional visit to our main hobby for all of our family to participate in.
