Junior Training commenced on Saturday 1st July 2017 – 10.00am till 4.00pm. This is open to all our new and existing Junior Members aged 8yrs and above who have recently joined and / or taken part in the recent weekly Taster Sessions.

The sessions, will be held each Saturday and will follow the syllabus of the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stages 1 and 2.  All Juniors must have a parent or Guardian with them on the day.

​New Date: Our President Carol Haines is sponsoring the “President’s Trophy Night” on Wednesday 19th July. Usual start time of 7.30pm. The final race of the Wednesday Summer handicap Series – sponsored by Moore and Moore windows, will now take place on Wednesday 26th July.

​The Juniors and Beginners race has now commenced each Sunday and will run until the end of the Summer Handicap series, sponsored by Towergate Insurance. The race will start around 12.35pm, immediately after the first race. It is hoped that the separate start will encourage more juniors and those new to racing to join in.

​The Trophy day on Saturday 22nd July will take the form of “match racing”. More details to follow.

​Well done to Elton Juniors who took part in the NW Junior Travellers series at West Lancs. Yacht club on Saturday 1st July. More details to follow but they and the support team all did brilliantly.
